General Terms

All sales are made under the standard terms and conditions outlined in this document.  All pricing, product details and procedures are subject to change at any time without notice.

 

Order Processing Times

Inertia Lab has the goal of shipping products that we stock within 48hrs of completed order processing and payment.  This is not a guarantee and should only be used as a guideline for your expectations.  Most products that we sell are not stocked and will be partially at the discretion of the supplier’s response time.  If you need parts by a certain date or overnighted, you need to get into contact with us directly before ordering to ensure this is possible.  Sometimes when advanced parts are built to order it may take extra time and it is always best to have a conversation with us to allow us to set expectations before ordering.

 

Damper Service Turnaround Times

This can vary based upon the services requested, parts required, time of year and the results of the inspection process.  We strive to service dampers within 10 business days, but often are able to do so much faster.  If you require faster turnaround this must be discussed with us prior and if this displaces other work in queue please expect to pay for this expedited service.  If parts are required that extend this timing we will be in contact about your options.

 

Privacy Policy

Inertia Lab will not disclose or sell any private customer or vendor information of any kind.

 

Payment

Inertia Lab accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit/debit cards.  Paypal can be accepted after Inertia Lab gives direct consent for each circumstance only if the charges are under $500.  If paying in person, cash and personal checks are accepted at the discretion of Inertia Lab.  We do not accept crypto-currency.  All sales made to billing or shipping addresses in the state of Texas are charged an 8.25% sales tax.

 

Warranty

In most cases we will help make the situation right so that you do not have to worry unduly.  Inertia Lab will help facilitate factory manufacturer warranties, but is not responsible for providing these warranties directly or investing effort to argue on your behalf.  It is up to the buyer to request and understand the manufacturer’s terms and conditions for their products.  In some cases Inertia lab is contracted to perform warranty service, but never against our own consent or without written confirmation directly by Chris Hagen, owner of Inertia Lab.

 

Return and Refund Policy

We will strive to keep customers happy and there is a reason that we must not allow returns or refunds for any purchases made online or in person.  Inertia Lab sells a number of brand’s parts most of which are built to order and it is not possible to stock or accept returned stock on such items.  If a part or product shows up with defects that will be addressed accordingly in a case by case scenario and we have never had an issue making this right.  This must be discussed with Inertia Lab prior to any action being taken and must be done within 30 days of the purchase.  Please call us if you have any questions or concerns about this policy prior to ordering anything online.

 

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated a number of ways depending on the product and where it is shipping from.  In some cases we have a flat rate to simplify the shipping process and in others it is based upon the packaging size and weight.  Shipping charges will be incurred at the time of purchase of any product.  If you require a faster delivery time than ground shipping from TX, please make this known or select the appropriate option for shipping.  Inertia Lab primarily uses FedEx to deliver all packages.  If another carrier is requested, please understand that a considerable handling charge for the time to drop off will be assessed.

 

Shipping Damage or Lost Merchandise

Any damages or lost merchandise are the responsibility exclusively of the carrier.  We package and inspect all products before shipment if they leave from our facility to ensure no damage before or during transit under normal conditions.  If a product was drop shipped and you find damage let us know the nature of the damage with pictures and details so we can either suggest it be addressed as shipping damage or otherwise.  Claims of damage need to be made immediately to the delivery driver or the carrier in general (within 3-days of arrival).  Do not return the damaged parts to us without an approved RMA.

 

Refused Shipments

If the package winds up returned to us due to missed delivery attempts or otherwise we will redeliver at the customers expense with the possibility of new shipping terms (no signature, new address etc) at our discretion.  If there is an incorrect address we will update the carrier within the confines of their terms.  Additional fees may be assessed if charges increase.

 

Adult signature NOT required for deliveries

 Only with prior written consent from Inertia Lab, all shipments to the customer from Inertia Lab will be sent WITHOUT requiring an adult signature for delivery. We can and encourage sending with signature required if you live in an area where your packages are at risk of being stolen or otherwise. Any loss of the shipment made without an adult signature required will not be the responsibility of Inertia Lab in any way and will need to be addressed with the carrier.

 

Texas State Sales Tax

All shipments delivered to addresses within the state of Texas will be charged the appropriate sales tax.  The rate is 8.25%.  Cash sales are not exempt from this policy and we will not do “cash deals”, so please do not ask.
